Barbara Lee Neidhart, 66, of Brothertown Rd., passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at her home. She was born in Utica on August 30, 1949, a daughter of the late Robert and Cleo Budlong Angier and was a graduate of Waterville High School. On June 29, 1968 in St. Bernard’s Church, Waterville she married Edward I. Neidhart. Barbara had worked for Oneida Silversmiths in Sherrill for several years before deciding to stay home and caring for her home, husband and raising her three boys. She later began work at Hamilton College where she worked for over 25 years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Bernard’s Church, Waterville. Barbara greatest enjoyment in life was her family.
Surviving are her husband, Edward; her mother in law, Minnie Neidhart of Oriskany Falls; her three sons and two daughters in law, Edward, Jr. and Jennifer Neidhart of Oriskany Fall; Kevin Neidhart of Madison; Brian and Renee Neidhart of Waterville; her grandchildren, Jason, Cassie, Josh, Jacob and Hannah Neidhart of Oriskany Falls; Brett Neidhart of Madison; Ryan and Indy Neidhart of Waterville; a sister, Bonnie Pickard of Verona and several in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father in law, Adolph Neidhart; a sister, Belinda Angier, and a brother, Robert Angier.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday , July 12, 2016 at 10 AM from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home (Kloster & Northrop Memorial Chapel), 210 E. Main St., Waterville, NY. Interment will be in St. Bernard’s Parish Cemetery. Friends are invited and may call Monday, July 11, 2016 from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
