Carolyn B. Primer, 74, of Earlville Rd., passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Utica.
She was born July 6, 1940 in Gloversville, NY a daughter of Lester E. and Mary Ellen Gherring Barker. She was a graduate of Fort Plain High School and SUNY, Morrisville. On July 26, 1958, Carolyn married Ross A. Primer in St. Johnsville. Together, they owned and operated C & R Electric in Earlville from 1968 to 2007. Carolyn loved crafting. She was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are her husband, Ross; children, Mark Primer and his girlfriend Bonnie Parker of Eaton; Deborah and Frederick Brooks of Waterville; Scott Primer and his girlfriend Melinda Hill of Earlville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lester, Jr. and Sally Barker of Tucson, AZ; Lynn and Sharon Barker of Monroe, MI; granddaughter, Kara Primer; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held at a later date.
Interment will be in St. Johnsville Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville NY.
