Charlotte Jennings

Charlotte J. Strobel Jennings, 83, of Fayette St., Earlville, NY, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the home of her daughter in Norwich.
She was born August 1, 1929 in Middleville, NY, a daughter in Clarence and Grace Countryman Strobel and attended Earlville schools. On July 26, 1949, Charlotte married Edward H. Jennings in Sherburne. He predeceased her on October 18, 1985. Charlotte had worked for Sherwood Medical in Sherburne for over 30 years until retiring in 1989.
Charlotte was a member of the First Baptist Church in Earlville.
Surviving are her two daughters and a son-in-law, Doreen Vaun of Norwich; Barbara and Chris Parkhurst of Georgetown; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Laura Downing of Garden City, MI; Winifred and Charles Eggleston of FL; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Carl Jennings; grandson, Jason Vaun; sisters, Helen Reese and Doris Phetteplace; brothers, Lawrence and Wesley Strobel.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, April 5, 2013 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville.
Interment will be in the Earlville Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday from Noon to 2pm prior to the service.
