COLLEEN M. DOYLE
WHITESBORO:
Colleen M. Doyle, 45 of Palmer Ave., passed away Thursday July 11, 2013 at University Hospital, Syracuse. She was born July 14, 1967 in Endicott a daughter of James G. and Martha A. Hunt Doyle. She graduated from Newark Valley High School and was currently working towards a degree in human services at MVCC. Colleen was a loving caregiver to Mary Kathleen Carey of Hamilton, whom she affectionally called “Monkey”. She was a very spiritual person. She loved everyone and would always be there for those in need. She had a special place in her heart for children. Colleen enjoyed spending time at Bradley Brook Lake, kayaking, hiking, and playing and listening to music.
She will be sadly missed by her partner, Michelle LaBonte of Whitesboro and her family; her father James G. Doyle of Newark Valley; her grandmother Marie Stetson of Little Meadows, PA; two sisters and brothers in law, Kathy and James Carey of Rochester; Christine and Anthony DeCarolis of New Hartford, three brothers and two sisters in law, James P. and Kathy Doyle of Owego; Thomas and Judy Doyle and Matthew Doyle of Newark Valley and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother Martha A. Doyle.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday July 17, 2013 from St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Stafford Ave. Waterville with Fr. Paul Carey officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends are invited and may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM at the Kloster & Northrop Memorial Chapel, 210 E. Main St., Waterville.
Contributions in Colleen’s memory may be made to an Animal Rescue or Shelter of your choice.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, pallative care and all the staff at St. Elizabeth Medical Center and University Hospital for their sincere kindness and support.
