Douglas H. St. Hilaire, Jr., 51, of Cedar St., Morrisville, NY, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Bassett Hospital, Cooperstown, NY.
He was born April 26, 1958 in Oneida, a son of Douglas H., Sr. and Betty Golley St. Hilaire. He graduated from Morrisville High School in 1976 where he was a member of the track and wrestling teams. Doug was a sales representative for A.M. Little & Son in Syracuse from 1976 until 2001. He was an enthusiastic fan of the NY Yankees and New England Patriots. On September 8, 1990, he married Michelle LeComte in Morrisville.
Mr. St. Hilaire was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Morrisville. He was a trustee of the Morrisville Public Library and a former member of the Eaton Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife, Michelle; two sons, Douglas H. St. Hillaire, III and Timothy M. St. Hilaire, both at home; a sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Howard Montanye of Eaton; a brother a sister-in-law, Michael and Connie St. Hilaire of Eaton. He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas in 1994.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday November 19, 2009, at the Faith Baptist Church, 15 Cambridge Ave., Morrisville, followed by burial in the Eaton Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, his family has requested that contributions be made to the Morrisville Public Library Restoration Fund or to the Faith Baptist Church, Morrisville.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, Morrisville.
