Edna M. Ellis, 95, of S. Hamilton Rd., passed away Friday October 28, 2011 at the Crouse Community Center, Morrisville. She was born in Madison on January 26, 1916 the last surviving of nine children of Clarence and Maude Manchester Lollman and received her education in local schools. On September 28, 1940 in Oriskany Falls she was united in marriage to Cecil C. Elllis. Mr. Ellis predeceased her on May 18, 2005. She was a member of the Hubbardsville Vol. Fire Dept. Aux. Edna was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Surviving are her children, Shirley and Ronald Jantzen of Orlando, FL; Richard Ellis of Earlville; Helen and Howard Eccleston of Henderson, NV; Mary and Richard Ahearn of Lutz, FL; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son Gordon Ellis. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 31, 2011 at 1:00 PM from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, NY. Interment will follow in Graham Cemetery, Hubbardsville. Friends are invited and may call Monday from noon to 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
