Ernest N. June, III, 53, of #5 Road, Fabius, NY, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011 at University Hospital, Syracuse.
He was born September 1, 1958 in Utica, a son of the late Ernest N., Jr. and Beatrice LaValley June and was educated in Sauquoit Valley schools. He served in the U.S. Army from 1978 to 1985. He married Sarah Williams in Florida in 1986 who predeceased him in 2008. Ernest was a self-employed handyman.
Surviving are his daughter, Polly June; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Correne and Scott Hungerford, Fabius; and Carrie Wormuth, CA; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Eric and Lori June, Paris Station; Andrew and Gail June, Canastota; Michael and Nicole June, Fabius; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services with military honors will be held at 2pm Thursday, October 27, 2011 from the Kloster-Northrop & Bentz Funeral Home, 210 E. Main St., Waterville.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from Noon until 2 pm prior to the service.
