Ethel C. Neal, 96, of Earlville, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the Katherine Luther Residential Healthcare Facility in Clinton.
She was born March 5, 1918 in Owego, NY, a daughter of Allen and Eva Hitchman Clough, and was a graduate of South Otselic High School in 1936. On August 21, 1941, Ethel married Theodore “Ted” W. Neal in South Otselic. He predeceased her on June 3, 2003. Along with assisting her husband in the operation of their dairy farm, Theldore Farm, in Pitcher, Ethel was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Donald DuBois of Earlville; grandsons and their wives, Travis and Beth DuBois of Earlville; Shane and Kathleen DuBois of Winston-Salem, NC; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, October 24, 2014 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville, followed by interment in the North Pitcher Cemetery.
