Gerald L. Marshall, 69, of Eaton, NY, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Gerald was born on July 3, 1948 in Sheds, NY, to Lloyd and Josephine Fox Marshall. He was employed at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton for 34 years, retiring in 2009. He was happily married to Patricia Decker Marshall for 43 years until she predeceased him in 2012. Gerald loved hunting, classic cars and western movies. He had a great sense of humor and always put a smile on everyone’s face. He was loved by many.
Gerald is survived by his children, Randy Marshall (Grace Duffney) of Rome; Billy and Bridgette Marshall of Sherburne; Tammie Marshall (Robert Klein) of Ilion; Pammie Marshall of Eaton; his grandchildren, Brandon and Amanda Marshall, Cody and Kiana Marshall, Dylan Clark (Kate Verne), and Richelle Marshall; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Candy Marshall; two brothers, Audry and Gary Marshall; and a sister, Greta Waffner.
The family will be having a gathering at their home, 2542 Candy Lane, Eaton, NY on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 12 Noon with a dish to pass.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, NY.
