Leslie J. Strapp, 78, of Morrisville, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the Oneida Healthcare Center, with his wife by his side. He was a farmer who was devoted to his work.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years Jean Ann (Yantz) Strapp; four children, James Strapp of Morrisville; Patricia Wallace of Avon; Nancy Matchewan of Canada; Lisa (Keith) Wing of Bloomfield; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes, there are no services or calling hours. The family will hold a private gathering at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Oneida Healthcare Center, 321 Genesee St., Oneida, NY 13421.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 31 Cedar St, Morrisville.
