L. ANNE FORD
BOUCKVILLE: Loretta Anne Ford, 82, of Route 12B, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton.
She was born January 10, 1932 in Elmira, NY, a daughter of Charles and Mary O’Connor Brady and was a graduate of Waterville High School. On April 19, 1952, Anne was married to Richard F. Ford in St. Bernard’s Church, Waterville. He predeceased her on October 23, 2001. Anne was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose family was her greatest joy. She was an active person who enjoyed several hobbies including golf, bowling and playing cards. She especially loved to go ballroom dancing with her husband.
Anne was a communicant of St. Bernard’s Church. She enjoyed outings with the Senior Citizen groups of Oriskany Falls, Kirkland and Madison.
Surviving are her children, Cynthia and Douglas Bush of Hamilton; Richard and Karla Ford of Cartersville, GA; Patricia Ford and Terry McConnell of Pompey; Donald and Sherry Ford of Clinton; Terry and Jill Ford of Bouckville; a sister, Shirley Curry of Richfield Springs; her grandchildren, Richard Bush, Amy Bush, Scott Bush, Deanna Kearns; Marshall Ford; Erin McConnell, Kyle Ford, Trevor Ford and Sara Ford; great-grandchildren, Coral Dennis, Noah Dennis-Harding, Zachary Bush, Lily Bush, Josey Kearns and Justin Kearns; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Richard L. Bush and Jason Slocum; and her sisters, Mary Louise Acker, Gertrude Dwyer and Marguerite Rubel Campbell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Saturday, September 20, 2014 from ST. Bernard’s Church, 199 Stafford Ave., Waterville, followed by interment in St. Bernard’s Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.
