Margaret I. Morgan, 86, lifelong Waterville resident, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Harding Nursing Home in Waterville.
Margaret was born July 28, 1926 in Waterville, a daughter of Winfred and Anna Whalen Morgan. She was a graduate of Waterville High School and attended the Utica School of Commerce. Margaret worked for General Electric in Utica, and then the Waterville Knitting Mill for 18 years until her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Bernard’s Church in Waterville.
Surviving are a niece and her husband, Bonnie and Mark Button of Hubbardsville; grandniece and her companion, Briana Button and Steve Metzler of New York Mills; and a grandnephew, Brice Button of Hubbardsville. She was predeceased by three brothers, Harold, John and Raymond Morgan, a sister, Anna Tarbox; a nephew Barry Morgan, and a niece, Betty Anne Morgan.
Graveside services will be held at 10am Saturday, June 1, 2013 in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Waterville.
