Marion Palmer

Marion Heap Palmer, 87, of Earlville, NY passed away at her home on Saturday, June 2, 2012.
She was born on November 27, 1925 in Oneida and attended Stockbridge Valley schools. In 1942, Marion was married to Leon Paul Palmer in Sherburne. He predeceased her on October 24, 2004. Marion and Paul were dairy farmers in Hubbardsville most of their lives. Marion had also worked for the telephone companies in Hamilton and Norwich in the 1960’s.
Surviving are her children, Roger and Margaret Palmer of Sherburne; Bonnie and Emerson Buell of Randallsville and Robert Palmer of Earlville; two grandsons that were raised by Marion and Paul, Rick Stevens of Munnsville, Randy and Cherie Stevens of Hamilton: grandchildren, Shawn and Pam Palmer of Morrisville; Paula Palmer of Morrisville; Lisa and Mike Hendricks of Louisiana, MO; Tonya Buell of Dawsonville, GA; great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Logan Palmer of Morrisville; Jason and Nikki Pittsley of Murrieta, CA; Jerri Pittsley and Devin Webb of Earlville; Julia Stevens of Utica, Cassandra Stevens of Eaton; Mindy and Curtis Stevens of Munnsville; Tony, Brittany and Christie Burton, all of MO; great-great-grandchildren, Derreco, Jade and Jazlynn Pittsley of Murrieta, CA; Jayla Ragland of Utica; Kaidence Osier of Eaton; Anthony (AJ) Burton of MO; sister-in-law, Betty Heap of Poolville. Also surviving is her very dear friend, Louise Williams of Earlville, to whom the family sends a special thank you. Marion was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Heap in 1991.
In keeping with Marion’s wishes, services will be private with interment in West Hill Cemetery, Sherburne.
Contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
