Mildred L. Howlett, 86, of Route 20, Bouckville, NY, passed away Saturday March 12, 2011 at the Harding Nursing Home, Waterville.
She born September 11, 1924 in the Town of Lebanon, the daughter of the late Harry and Clara Finch Fleming and was a graduate of Hamilton High School. On April 9, 1944 in Earlville she was united in marriage to Walter K. Howlett. Mrs. Howlett owned and operated the Pine Woods Antique’s for over 25 years. She was a member of the Madison-Bouckville Antiques Dealers Association.
Surviving are her husband Walter; her children Dirinda and Jack Houghton of Madison; Claudia Fleming Howlett of TX; Patricia and John Whitford of W. Eaton; daughter-in-law Teresa Howlett of Bouckville; a sister Dorothy Morey of Earlville; a brother William Fleming of Norwich; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Robert K. Howlett; three brothers John, Harold and Fred Fleming, and a sister Marion Getman.
Services will be held at 3pm Thursday, March 17, 2011, from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home 31 Cedar St. Morrisville, NY.
Friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 1-3pm prior to the service.
Interment will be held in the spring in Woodlawn Cemetery, Hamilton, NY
