Nancy D. Dungey, 58, formerly of Earlville and Sherburne, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY.
She was born on February 15, 1954 in Hamilton, a daughter of Albert and Betty Holcomb Dungey and was a graduate of Sherburne-Earlville Central School. Nancy had done childcare for 25 years, and then worked in the cafeteria at Community Memorial Hospital until her retirement.
Surviving are her sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Roger Palmer of S. Hamilton; Mary and Donald Doing of Greene; Linda Dungey of Sherburne; Vanessa and Mark Pullman of Esperance; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Shelly Dungey of Sherburne; and several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Brian Dungey.. She was predeceased by two brothers, Donald and Charles Dungey.
Funeral services will be held at 7pm Thursday, July 26, 2012 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville.
Interment in the Willcox Cemetery, Town of Smyrna, will be private at the convenience of the family.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-7pm prior to the service.
