Wilfred Clark

Wilfred Ross Clark, 93, formerly of Carey Rd., Eaton, NY, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 10, 2015 at the Harding Nursing Home in Waterville, NY.
Wilfred was born September 28, 1921 in Eaton, a son of W. Ross and Marion Hall Clark. He was a graduate of Morrisville-Eaton High School. On October 19, 1946 Wilfred was joined in marriage to Marion Davis in Eaton. Wilfred was a dairy farmer until retiring in 1984. He then worked as an enumerator for the USDA for a few years and enjoyed this work.
Wilfred attended both the Eaton Community Bible Church and the West Eaton Baptist Church.
Wilfred is survived by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Stanley and Esther Davis of Hamilton; sister-in-law, Mary Clark of Eaton; nieces and nephews, Thomas H. Clark, Jr. of Eaton; Rachel and James Winkler of Rochester; Esther and James Roberts of Eaton; several great-nieces and –nephews, and great-great-nieces and -nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Marion; a nephew, Terry Davis; and a brother, Thomas Clark.
A celebration of life will be held at 2pm Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the Eaton Community Bible Church.
Interment in the Smith’s Valley Cemetery, Randallsville, NY is private.
Contributions in his memory may be made to Harding Nursing Home Activities Fund, 220 Tower St., Waterville NY 13480, where he enjoyed participating in the bible studies of all faiths and singing with the Forget-Me-Nots during his final months.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 31 Cedar St., Morrisville, NY.
