In the late 1940’s Alberta worked for the Oneida Community silversmiths. From 1970 until retiring in 1994, she was the secretary for her husband’s bulk transportation trucking company, Charles H. Eaves and Sons in Cobleskill. She was a member of the St. Christopher Episcopal Church of Cobleskill.
