Beverly C. Meyers

Beverly C. Meyers, 72, of Simons Spur Rd., Smyrna, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at her home.
She was born June 2, 1948 in Norwich, a daughter of Edward and Mary Louise Phetteplace and attended New Berlin High School. On December 3, 1976, Beverly married David G. Meyers in St. John, Michigan. He predeceased her on June 20, 2019. Beverly and David were lifelong farmers and homesteaders. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and canning. She liked the outdoors, fishing, hunting, trapping, swimming and going on picnics. She was also a private duty nurse’s aide. She loved and appreciated her many friends in the local community.
Beverly attended the First United Methodist Church in Smyrna and the First Baptist Church in Earlville.
Surviving are her children, David G. Meyers, Jr. of NC; Vicki and Robert Huebner of Fulton, IL; Leeann and Bruce Hagen of Norwich; Kelly and Steve Lerche of Endicott; and Wendy Meyers of Lodi, CA; a sister, Christina Meriah Lucia and wife Michelle Lucia; brother and sister-in-law, David and Sandy Phetteplace of Lansing, MI; 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Lisa Lindeman.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Interment will be in the Willcox Cemetery, Smyrna at a time to be announced. Family and friends will be welcome.
