Clara B. Corbin

Clara B. Corbin, 96, formerly of Brookfield, NY and Clearwater, FL, passed away Sunday March 13, 2022 at Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace, FL.

She was born on October 22, 1925 in Brookfield, a daughter of Frank and Mary York Beach. She received her early education in Brookfield and was a graduate of Pittsford High School. On August 10, 1943, Clara married Victor H. Corbin in New Berlin, NY. He predeceased her on September 27, 1992. Clara had worked for the Jerger Insurance Co. in Pinellas Park, FL until retiring in 2001.

Surviving are her daughters, Clara Ann Childers of Leakesville, MS; Faith and David Webber of Campbellsville, KY; Ruth Corbin of Valrico, FL; sons, Victor and Marilyn Corbin of West Windsor, NY; Adelbert and Kae Corbin of Lakeland FL; Robert and Gail Corbin of Valrico, FL; a brother, Charles Beach of Holley, NY; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Eugene Beach and sister Anna Mary Beach.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 11:00 am from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 210 E. Main St., Waterville, followed by interment in the Brookfield Rural Cemetery, Brookfield, NY.
