Darryl J. Schultz, 59, of Stafford Ave., Waterville, NY, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in New Hartford.
He was born July 19, 1961 in Utica, NY, a son of Gilbert and Karis Kline Schultz and was a graduate of Waterville High School. Darryl was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked for Bonide Products in Oriskany. Darryl was an avid sports fan who followed the NY Yankees and the Buffalo Bills. He also enjoyed fishing.
Surviving are his mother, Karis Schultz of Waterville; sister, Melissa Ireland (Michael Streichert) of Marcy; brothers, Steven Schultz (Laurie Eldridge) of Crystal Creek, NY; Kevin Schultz (Doreen Adle) of Lee Center; Jon (Cheryl) Schultz of Waterville; an aunt, Shirley Hart of Waterville; uncle, Bud Hinman of Waterville; several nieces and nephews, including nephew Jon (Amy) Schultz of Clinton and niece, Samantha Schultz of Waterville; and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Gilbert and a sister, Kristina Marie Schultz.
Graveside services in the Waterville Cemetery are private.
