David V. Chandler, 74, of Williams Corners Rd., Morrisville, NY, passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 at St. Luke’s Home in New Hartford.
He was born August 19, 1942 in Oriskany Falls, a son of Stuart V. and Joyce Grey Chandler and received his education in Morrisville schools. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. David married Kathy L. Kent in Morrisville, and had been a loving couple for over 40 years. David had worked at Precision Casting in Fayetteville, and later for Edlund Manufacturing in East Syracuse until retiring. Following that, he worked for Ferris Industries in Stockbridge. He enjoyed growing gladioli, making jewelry and creating wood crafts.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy; a daughter, Lisa Chandler of Oneonta; a step-son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Barbara Frawley of Morrisville; a sister, Cynthia Chandler of Fayetteville; a brother, Dann Chandler of Kirkville; five grandchildren, several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
I keeping with his wishes, services and interment are private at the convenience of his family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 31 Cedar St., Morrisville.
