Diane L. Hoag

SHERBURNE: Diane L. Hoag, 72, of Gould Dr., passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Valley View Manor Nursing Home in Norwich.
She was born November 2, 1946 in Sidney, NY, a daughter of the late Stuart and Wanda Fleming Friedel and received her education in local schools. Diane was a homemaker who had been married to Raymond Peck, and later to Richard “Duke” Hoag. She enjoyed sewing and knitting. She loved her cat, Foxy and dog, Queenie.
Surviving are her sister, Brenda Friedel of Gilbertsville; brothers, Douglas Friedel of New Berlin and Harold Friedel of Rochester; grandson and his wife, Lonny and Katherine Bice of Philadelphia, PA; and her special friend Marge Bates of Sherburne. She was predeceased by her daughter, Raylene “Rae” Bice on June 29, 1999.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Interment will be in West Hill Cemetery, Sherburne in the spring.
There are no calling hours.
