Donna Stradling Bardsley, 57, formerly of West Eaton, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016 at the Crouse Community Center in Morrisville.
She was born February 13, 1958 in DeRuyter, NY, a daughter of William and Joyce Vandawalker Stradling. She was a graduate of Otselic Valley Central School and Herkimer County Community College. She was a medical assistant in the Keever Family Practice in Oriskany Falls and Cazenovia. Donna’s children and her extended family were the light of her life. She was a member of the Georgetown Baptist Church.
Surviving are her parents, William and Joyce Stradling of Georgetown; a son, Joshua Bardsley of Eaton; a sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Jeff Newell of Lincoln, RI; two brothers and a sister-in-law, William, Jr. and Cathryn Stradling of Georgetown; and Thomas Stradling of Hornell; nieces and nephews, Leanne Stradling; Will and Angela Stradling; and their son, Jack, Jennifer and Seth Leavitt, and their daughter Caroline; Cathryn and Jonathan Chabot, and their daughter, Savannah; David Newell and Elizabeth Newell; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Matthew Bardsley in 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, followed by interment in the Hillside Cemetery, Georgetown.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8pm.
