Donna E. Cieslak

Donna E. Cieslak, 68, of Waterville, died peacefully at home on Friday, May 20, 2022.  She was born in Utica on January 24, 1954, the daughter of Marilynn Glassford, and attended Whitesboro schools. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse after graduating from the B.O.C.E.S. program. Donna was married to James L. Cieslak on September 8, 1983 in Waterville. She was employed with the Lutheran Home for over 45 years and took such pride in caring for her residents. Donna enjoyed spending time with family, and having visits with close friends . She is survived by her husband, James Cieslak, her daughters, Alicia Cieslak of Boulder, CO, and Monica and Tommy Kilts of Waterville, NY, her brother and sister in-law Dale and Marcy Bowes of Batavia, NY, a sister-in-law Sheila Tuck, of Greensboro, NC, an aunt, Barbara Rieder, of Daytona Beach, FL, four grandchildren who she loved dearly, Brycen, Natalie, Stella and Poppy, along with beloved cousins and several nieces and nephews. She cherished many special friends, but most lovingly Noel Strobino and Dawn Eisenhut. She was predeceased by her mother, her sister Dawn Jordan, and her brother Darryl Duvelow. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Donna which will be on Thursday at 4 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Oriskany Falls.
