Frances L. Cowles

ORISKANY FALLS: Frances Louise Cowles, 89, of Oriskany Falls, passed away Sunday May 16, 2021 at the Waterville Residential Center.
She was born October 27, 1931 in Utica, one of five children of Edward and Margaret Lewis Smith and received her education in Madison schools. Frances married Francis L. Cowles who predeceased her in 1995. Mrs. Cowles was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother whose family was the joy of her life.
Surviving are her children, Sharon Bouchard of Georgia; Linda Camp of Oriskany Falls; Debbie (Tom) Hendricks of Virginia; Theresa Burchill (Gary Duback) of Oriskany Falls; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by all of her siblings.
Frances will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Graveside services will be private in the Hillside Cemetery, Oriskany Falls.
