Frank M. Price

SHERBURNE: Frank Price, son of Oklen and Katherine Dunn Price, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday February 17th 2022 with his family by his side. Frank was born in 1941 and raised in Sherburne with his parents and ten siblings. He met his beloved wife, Marjorie VanMatre in 1965 and spent his remaining years by her side with their four children and six grandchildren. He worked at Sheffield Products in Norwich, NY for 35 years before retiring, where he met many close friends.

Frank’s family meant the world to him. His favorite days were spent laughing with them or working outdoors. He had a love for classic cars and motorcycle rides, which he shared with his son and sons-in law. If there was a project to be worked on, Frank was always the first one there to lend a helping hand. A dedicated worker and a man of few words, Frank will certainly be missed by many.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife  Marjorie (VanMatre) Price, son Frank (Robin) Price, Jr. of Sherburne, daughter Pamela (Andrew) Phelps of Norwich, son John Price of Sherburne, daughter Kristina (Jerry) Hutchins of Sherburne; grandchildren Kiersha and Alexa Phelps, Harlee and Jaryn Price, and JB Hutchins; siblings, Phil Price, Linda Diamond and Viola Howe, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by granddaughter, Frankie Lee Price; siblings, Samuel Price, Virginia Maynard, Lois (Sis)Dempsey, Clarence (Worley) Price, Clifford Price, Vivian Bullard, and Barbara Thomas.

Interment in West Hill Cemetery, Sherburne will be in the spring.
