Gary Lee Patterson, 66, of Eaton St., Hamilton, NY, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton.
He was born on December 25, 1954 in Munich, Germany, a son of Neil B. and Doreen A. Duke Patterson. Gary proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1979 until his retirement and honorable discharge in 1993. On March 20, 2009, Gary married Diane Lorettta McKissick in Tennessee. He enjoyed collecting and selling antique glass.
Surviving is his beloved wife, Diane; his children, Neil (Sharon) Patterson, Gary (Diana) Patterson, Jr., all of TN; Loreen Diamond of Norwich; Kimberly Martin of Gilford; Robert (Jme) Martin of NC; Ryan McKissick of Sauquoit; sisters, Linda (Tony) Bond of Burdette; Rhonda (Bill) Quade of Hammondsport; Lisa (Len) Orr of Burdette; Amy (Ken) Vernasky of Healy Lake, MT; Jeanne Patterson of TN; brothers, David (Ruth) Patterson of Horseheads; Norman Patterson of NC; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial Services with military honors will be held at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 1pm.
Interment is private at the convenience of the family.
