Jerrid N. Ashcraft

Jerrid N. Ashcraft, 42, of Boos Law Rd., Smyrna, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich.

He was born on January 30, 1980 in New Milford, CT, a son of Daniel and Esther Doty Ashcraft. He received his early education in New Milford schools, was a graduate of Sherburne-Earlville High School and attended Cazenovia College. He owned and operated Ashcraft Custom Builders in Smyrna. Jerrid enjoyed writing poetry, photography and riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the Earlville Softball League.

Surviving are his mother, Esther Doty of Smyrna; father Daniel (Rae) Ashcraft of Poolville; grandmother, Esther Doty of New Milford, CT; daughter, Olivia Ashcraft of Smyrna; sister, Katie (Thomas) Jusianiec of Earlville and their children, Alexia and Tomek; brothers, Joshua D. Ashcraft of Sherburne and son Bentley Percivieal; Jordan E. Ashcraft of Hamilton; Jack Schieferstean of N. Norwich and children Lukas and Orion; an uncle, Frederick Doty, Jr. of New Milford, CT and a cousin, Jake Doty of MA.  He was predeceased by his grandfather, Frederick Doty, Sr.

Services and interment are private.
