John D. Ettrich

John D. Ettrich, 71 of Lebanon Rd., Eaton, NY, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Community Memorial Hospital.
He was born February 28, 1950 in Germany, a son of the late Frank and Elisabeth Fouquet Ettrich. He received his education in Deposit and Afton schools. On November 26, 1969 in Deposit he was united in marriage to Linda Lobez. Linda predeceased him on August 15, 2021. John started a career in farming and later in construction and trucking, before returning to his love of farming. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Hamilton.
Surviving is his daughter Tracey Combs of Eaton; a granddaughter Maren; his sisters Rosemarie Petersen of Oriskany Falls, Ramona and her husband James Festa of Florida; a brother Wilfried Ettrich of Eaton, Reiner Ettrich and his wife Ellie of Norwich and several nieces and nephews.
