Kathleen E. Hobart

Kathleen E. Hobart of Chadwicks, passed away from cancer, Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare. She was born March 26, 1951 in Oneida, and raised by Lucy and Glad Keith. She received her educating in Brookfield and Hamilton schools and graduated with a GED through BOCES with certificate in Graphic Arts. Kathleen loved to crochet, swim, and paint. Kathleen was well known for her beautiful wedding cakes, and she would also be considered a passionate card player. She worked for Human Technologies Corporation, (HTC), Utica before retirement.  

A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she leaves her children, Rebecka & Gerard Snow, of Blossvale, Joseph and Shirley Manwarren of San Clemente CA, LeeAnn and Jerome Nelson of Madison; her grandchildren Quartney and Cody Webb of Earlville, and their children Maddie and Cora, Miranda Goedel of Sherburne, Kiara and Dylan Snow of Blossvale, Wyatt Manwarren, of San Clemente CA, Deaghan, Gavin and Chandler Nelson of Madison; two sisters Sylvia Bonafield of N. Brookfield, Sue (Mike) Gray of Leonardsville; a brother George (Mary) Hobart of Ball Ground GA, and many nieces. and nephews.

In keeping with Kathleen’s generous nature to help others, her body was gifted to science and medical research.

 A celebration of Kathleen’s life will be held on June 11th, from 1:00 to 4:00 at Beaver Creek Bar and Grill, 7844 State Route 20, Waterville, NY 13480.
