Kathleen Pierson Larkin

Kathleen Pierson Larkin, 84, of Tower St., passed away July 4, 2022 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Utica.

She was born on October 17, 1937 in the Town of Brookfield, a daughter of Raymond and Laura McClintock Aldrich. She was a graduate of Leonardsville High School and was the valedictorian of her class. On May 11, 1957, Kathleen married Royce A. Pierson in Leonardsville. She was a farmer’s wife who assisted her husband in the operation of their farm until he predeceased her on October 14, 1997. On December 29, 2001, she married Harry R. Larkin in Waterville. Together, they enjoyed traveling in the United States and abroad. Harry predeceased her on October 30, 2020. She enjoyed embroidering and crocheting. Kathleen worked at the Food King in Waterville until retiring.

Surviving are her children, Sandra and Donald Ossont of Waterville; Timothy Pierson of Waterville; Lynne Zutter (Carl Franklin) of Syracuse; Melissa Wratten (Jeffrey Brown) of Deansboro; step-daughter, Jacqueline and Mark Nower of Bouckville and their family; grandchildren, Amanda Bridge (Gary); Jason Burleigh (Hannah); Jacob Wratten (Jenna), Laura Wratten; Mary Wratten (Corey); Grace Wratten (Josh); Jasmine Weber-Pierson; Royce Weber-Pierson; Shaina Hadlock; Andrea Streeter (Timothy); 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Francis Aldrich and her parents.

Graveside services in the North Brookfield Cemetery will be private at the convenience of her family.
