Mark t. Foster, 54, affectionately known as “Frosty”, of State Highway 80, Smyrna, NY, passed away at his home on March 15, 2022, following a brave battle with cancer.
He was born in Norwich on October 6, 1967, a son of Norman and Sandra Burnap Foster and was a graduate of Sherburne-Earlville High School. Mark was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served from 1987 until his honorable discharge in 1991. He was a lineman for the Henkels & McCoy Group in Bainbridge. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and vegetable gardening.
Surviving are his mother, Sandra Rink of Smyrna; his daughters, Breanna Foster of Carnegie, PA and Isabella Foster of Smyrna; sisters, Debralee and Fred Muller of Smyrna; Deanna and Jeff Smith of South Plymouth; step-sisters, Robin and Brandon Perkins of Smyrna; Bobbie Jo and Bobbie Showens; several nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Alicia Kane.
A Celebration of Mark’s Life will be held at the American Legion Post #876, South Main St., Sherburne on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 2-6pm.
Interment in the Willcox Cemetery, Smyrna, will be private at the convenience of his family.
