Nancy M. Giglio, 87, of Sherburne, NY passed away on Friday April 22, 2022 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. She was born April 15, 1935, in Cambridge, MA, a daughter of the late Frank and Teresa (Carceo) Miceli. She graduated from Cambridge High & Latin School. On October 15, 1960, Nancy was united in marriage to Francis R. “Frank” Giglio at Sacred Heart Church in Watertown, MA, a blessed and loving union of over 61 years until Frank’s passing on March 10, 2022. Nancy was kind to everyone, had many friends, and never said a negative word about anyone. She loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed reading and arts & crafts. She also loved listening to music. Neil Diamond and Gordon Lightfoot were among her favorite singers, and she was fortunate to see both in concert. Her passing leaves an empty place in the hearts of her family and friends, but memories of her kindness and laughter will always be with us.
Surviving are her children, Frank (Lisa) Giglio, Jr., Diana Giglio, Anthony (Kisten) Giglio; grandchildren, Daniel Giglio, Geana Giglio, Michael Giglio, Matthew Giglio, Talon Schroeder, Tambria Schroeder, Jeff Decker, and Christina Galloway; great-grandchildren, Emersyn and Levi Schroeder; her sisters, Katherine Favuzza, Marie McCarron, & Pauline O’Meara; and many nieces, nephews, & cousins.
