Patricia A. Dale

Patricia A. Dale, 83, of Tracy Rd., North Norwich, NY,  passed away Wednesday February 16, 2022 at her home. She was born June 29, 1938 in Norwich, a daughter of the late Floyd, Sr. and Christine Wilcox Adsit and received her education in Sherburne schools. On September 7, 1953, Patricia married Richard L. “Dick” Dale in Sherburne. He predeceased her on October 2, 2014. Patricia was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife who loved to cook and took great care of her home and her animals. She enjoyed gardening. She was a member of the West Smyrna Baptist Church where she had formerly played the piano and was a member of the choir. Surviving are her children, Michael Dale of Sherburne; Lori and Greg Levengood of Auburn; daughters-in-law, Cheryl Dale of Nappanee, IN and Grace Dale of Earlville; sisters, June Black of Sherburne; Carla Vassari and Mario Scarpace of Waterford; Christine and Neil Shupp of Sherburne; brothers, Floyd, III and Angela Adsit of Wake Forest, NC; William and Kathy Adsit of Sherburne; grandchildren, Nathaniel and Sareen Dale of Littleton, CO; Justin and Mary Dale of Nappanee, IN; Jason and Katie Levengood of Liverpool; Alyssa Levengood of Syracuse; great-grandchildren, Brayden Dale and Madison Dale, both of Nappanee, IN; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons, Mark and Dwight Dale; a brother-in-law, Wayne Black and her step-mother, Mildred Adsit. Funeral Services will be held at 4pm Sunday, February 20, from the West Smyrna Baptist Church, 803 Route 80, Smyrna, NY 13464. Interment will be in the West Hill Cemetery, Sherburne in the spring. Friends are invited to call at the church on Sunday from 2-4pm prior to the service.
