Raymond ”Jack” Cymerman, 68, of River Rd., passed away January 2, 2021 at his home in Hamilton, N.Y.
He was born September 1,1952 in Buffalo,NY, a son of Bernard and Mary Danielewicz Cymerman. He was a graduate of Buffalo High School and George Washington University in Washington, DC. Jack proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. On May 5, 1979, he married Dawn Marie Brink. Jack was a Physician’s Assistant who worked at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse and then Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton. His biggest joys were his family, his farm and animals and participating in Border Collie Trials with his dogs.
Surviving are his wife, Dawn; son Ryan Cymerman of Hamilton; daughter Rochelle and son-in-law A.J. Cavanaugh of Altamont; daughter Rebecca Cymerman and her partner, Glenn Foster of England; granddaughters Elizabeth and Katherine; brothers, Fr. Alex Cymerman of Buffalo; Richard and Linda Cymerman of Cheektowaga; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Cymerman.
Friends are invited to call at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, NY on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 5-8 pm. In accordance with current CDC and New York State regulations, masks are required.
A Memorial Service will be private on Saturday, January 9 at the Park United Methodist Church, Hamilton.
Internment will be private at the convenience of the family.
