Richard C. Ellis, 78, of South Hamilton Rd., Earlville, NY, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the Crouse Community Center in Morrisville, NY.
He was born September 19, 1942 in Hamilton, NY, a son of the late Cecil C. and Edna M. Lollman Ellis and received his education in local schools. Richard worked on the family dairy farm until retiring.
Surviving are his sisters, Helen (Howard) Eccleston of Henderson NV; Shirley (Ron) Jantzen of Orlando, FL; Mary (Rich) Ahearn of Fort Pierce, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his close friends and caregivers, Lorraine and Roland Palmer of Sherburne. He was predeceased by a brother, Gordon S. Ellis.
Graveside services will be held at the convenience of his family in the Graham Cemetery, Hubbardsville, NY.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, NY.
