Robert K. Oliver, 73, of State Route 8, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the Waterville Residential Care Center. He was born January 27, 1950 in W. Winfield, a son of the late Edwin and Ruth Oliver and attended local schools. He served in the US Marine Corps.  On July 16, 1977, he married Nora K. Risley. She predeceased him on August 7, 2013. Robert worked for C P Craska, Inc., Ilion as a truck driver and also had worked for many area farms. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

Surviving is his children, Christopher and Carrie Oliver of W. Winfield, Robert K. Oliver, Jr., and fiancé Joann Hughes of W. Winfield and Michael Oliver of Waterville; grandchildren, Thomas (Allison) Oliver, Genevee Oliver and Emily Oliver; great grandchildren, Gradin and Harland ; and also, many brothers, sisters, niece, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 2 PM form the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home 210 E. Main St., Waterville, NY 13480. Interment will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Waterville. Friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from Noon to 2 PM.
