Robert Taylor

Robert F. Taylor, 94, of County Highway 20, North Norwich, NY, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 at the Norwich Rehab and Nursing Center.
He was born April 4, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of Carl G. and Martha Williams Taylor, and was a graduate of George Junior Republic Union High School. In Freeville, NY.
On December 16, 1955, Robert married Mary Gager in Sherburne. She predeceased him on April 26, 2013. Bob had been a farmer for over 21 years, and then worked at the Norwich Knitting Mill for a short time. He later worked for Proctor & Gamble in Norwich for over 20 years until retiring. Bob was a member of the West Smyrna Baptist Church.
Surviving are his friends and his church family at the West Smyrna Baptist Church, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10am Thursday, June 25, 2015 in the North Norwich Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the West Smyrna Baptist Church, 1893 State Highway 80, Smyrna, NY 13464; or to Camp BAYOUCA, 100 Camp Spaulding Rd., Smithville Flats, NY 13841.
