Ruby A. Watson, 89, of Route 26, Georgetown, NY, passed away at her home on September 29, 2021.
She was born on October 30, 1931 in Georgetown, a daughter of Edgar and Pansy Sternburg Wilcox and received her education in local schools. She married Harold R. Watson in Georgetown. Ruby had been a bartender in the area and worked for SUNY, Morrisville until retiring. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Andrew MacLean, Melissa Watson and Clyde Burgess, all of Georgetown; a sister, Elaine Oros of Cincinnatus; a brother, Gene Wilcox of Lincklaen; three grandchildren, Matthew MacLean of Williamsville; Andrea Curtis-Horath and Jason Curtis of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Kevin Watson in 2014; and several brothers and sisters.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of her family.
