Sandra I. “Sandy” Winton, 74, of E. Losee Rd., Sherburne, NY, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown.
She was born April 2, 1946 in Norwich, a daughter of George C. and Gladys Adams Beagle and received her education in local schools. On September 18, 1964, Sandra married Bruce H. Winton, Sr. in Earlville, and they shared a loving union of over 55 years. Sandra worked for the Earlville Paper Box Factory and then for Classic Pharmaceuticals in Sherburne. She enjoyed the outdoors and going to garage sales. Spending time with her grandchildren, especially on holidays, was most precious to her.
Surviving are her husband, Bruce; a son, Bruce H. (Heidi) Winton, Jr. of Poolville; daughters, Kimberly (John) Buell, Linda (Rody) Slater, all of Sherburne; and Buffy Winton of Smyrna; sisters, Catherine Collins of FL and Barbara Monroe of NC; a brother, Richard “Dick” Beagle of Sherburne; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Beagle and sisters, Gert, Velma, Marie and Virginia.
In keeping with Sandy’s wishes, there are no services or calling hours.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville, NY.
