Stanley J. Davis

Stanley J. Davis, 101, of Utica, formerly of Morrisville, passed away May 1, 2023 at the Masonic Care Community in Utica.

He was born on January 14, 1922 in Ames, NY, a son of James and Marjorie Davis and received his education in local schools. On May 29, 1948 in Morrisville he married Esther Jones of Morrisville. She predeceased him on February 16, 2022. He had worked for the New Holland and Case dealership in Morrisville and later was a bus driver for Morrisville-Eaton Central School District.

Stanley was of the Methodist faith and attended the Morrisville Community Church. He was a member of the F&AM Lodge #616 in Cazenovia; and the Lions Club. In earlier years, he enjoyed bowling.

Surviving are several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. He was predeceased by a son, Terry Davis and a sister.

Interment will be private in the Morrisville Cemetery.
