Tyler Homer Keith, 22, of Waterville, passed away on May 22, 2022. Tyler, a Marine, was on active duty at Marine Corps Air Station in New River in Jacksonville, NC at the time of his passing.

Tyler was born April 19, 2000, in Utica the son of George and Laurie (Brown) Keith of Waterville. He grew up on our farm raising goats, helping with chores, going on hay deliveries, and planting corn with Dad for our neighbors and friends. Tyler loved board games and often bested his older siblings, and his chess game was a notch above. He was a chess champion at school, beating students, teachers, and administration on his way to the trophy each year. He graduated from Waterville Central School in 2018. Upon graduation, he joined the US Marine Corps and completed basic training at Parris Island, SC. He loved his work as an aviation mechanic and was deployed in 2021 when he was many different countries and people.

Tyler is survived by his parents; sisters, Victoria Merriman, Heather Keith, Alicia Simcoe, and Katharine Brown; brothers, Thaddeus Merriman, Jeremy Keith, and Jonathan Brown. He leaves many loving friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, and Marine family. We will see you in heaven for eternity.
